Correction 1: 은/는 Needs to Match the Final Sound
시위 ends in a vowel, not a consonant (받침 없음), so it always takes 는, never 은.

빠지다 means "to fall into" something (like traffic), while 피하다 means "to avoid" it. The sentence needed the second meaning.
