최근에는 설문조사라고 하면 인터넷으로 하는 것이 떠올은다. 그러나 옛날에는 길거리에서 하는 설문조사가 많이 있었던 것이 기억이 난다. 시부야역 같은 터미널역 부근에는 이러쿵저러쿵 모르는 사람에 불러 멈춰 서는 일이 많았다. "당신을 위해 기도해 드리겠습니다"라며 다가오는 사람이 있는가 하면 설문조사라고 말을 거는 사람도 있었다. 그리고 설문조사라고 하면 어딘가에 끌려가 값비싼 물건을 사게 된다는 이미까지 있었다. 이런 상법을 "캐치 세일즈"라고 불면서 지자체가 주의를 호소하곤했다. 요즘은 길거리 실문조사에 응하는 사람이 적어지지 않았을까 싶은데 그렇다면 캐치 세일즈에 걸리는 사람이 있을까. 아무튼 나는 길거리 설문조사라면 수상한 이미지밖에 없기 때문에 무조건 무시한다.

3. Particle Error — 에 vs. 이

4. 상법 vs. 수법 — Choosing the Right Nuance

상법 means "business method" (neutral/legal). 수법 means "trick/scheme" (negative). For deceptive sales tactics, use 수법. Also: 불면서 → 부르면서 (correct conjugation of 부르다).
